According to the Humane Society of the United States website HSUS has now released an iPhone App that will give iPhone and iPod touch users an easy way to access all the great things they are doing for animals. Hmmm, too bad HSUS doesn't actually operate ANY Animal Shelters and instead spent $2.5 million dollars on their employees' pension plans.
"The HumaneTV app is the best way to stay connected to the work of The Humane Society of the United States on your iPhone or iPod touch," said chief operating officer Michael Markarian. "Now you can watch short videos anywhere that highlight animal rescues, undercover investigations, and The HSUS' mission of celebrating animals and confronting cruelty."When will their be an app created so consumers can meet a farmer and learn where their food comes from? I would be willing to let me use any of the videos that I have been apart of like Jill Harvie, Arlen and Becky Sawyer or Lewis Farms.
Animal Welfare is my number one priority, however letting animals have humanly rights in not the direction we need to head. If you need proof that HSUS is not serving animals' best interests I encourage you again to visit this website www.HumanWatch.org.
